Lives Will Be Saved!

Aid Africa’s birthing kit assembly day was a great success. We assembled a whopping 1132 birthing kits in record time and an additional 403 hygiene kits after lunch. We couldn’t have done it without all our kit sponsors and volunteers. The hygiene kits are already on their way to help people and the birthing kits will soon go to Africa to save many lives. Here is a link to a short video that was made that day by our friends at Agent Chill Entertainment, Candice Rusch and Brian Byrd. First baby born at Bethesda Hospital in Uganda

Some of the kits assembled last year went to Bethesda Hospital in Uganda. Here’s a picture of  first baby born at that new hospital.

Taking birthing kits to Adjumani

Here’s a picture from Adjumani, a camp housing refugees from the troubles in South Sudan. Peter Keller is currently in Uganda and took some birthing kits there and George, one of our staff, is happily showing them off.

Thanks to those who sponsored kits, who got kits sponsored, and who assembled kits, to make the day such a great success and save so many lives. After all, One Kit Saves Two Lives!
